September 22nd 2004 Luncheon with Mayor James Hahn

124 Chamber members from Mid Valley, Encino, Studio City and Sherman Oaks shared a lunchtime meeting with Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn last Wednesday. The Mayor spoke about efforts to increase the city housing stock, the increased fire fighting presence in the Valley on a windy day that was part of a gusty week. He discussed ways that the City is working to assist businesses that want to grow. And he made clear his wish to see Los Angeles become a business-friendly place to be. Thanks to Mindy and Nancy of Mid Valley Chamber and to Jill Banks Barad for extensive press coverage which helped draw the crowd.
