Scott Detweiler
Scott Detweiler is a prolific composer and performer from New Orleans that brings together blues and jazz in the grand New Orleans tradition of the Neville Brothers, Dr. John,  The Meters and Chocolate Milk.

His music is driven by rhythms indigenous to the New Orleans sound.  His unique quality is that unlike legendary artists who also hail from the Big Easy, like Fats Domino, Dr. John, Harry Connick, Jr., and Professor Longhair, who are known for playing piano, Scott plays the guitar.  He is one of the most important guitarists to come out of New Orleans in recent years.

His upcoming VAVV Records CD release is scheduled for January 2008.
