"Perfumes of Araby" is a local group of American Dancers dedicated to sharing the beauty and diversity of Middle Eastern Dance!
Members of the Valley based group include professionals in other fields and bring a wide range of experience and knowledge to their presentations. They are known for lively, colorful performances that have been described as both "opulent and elegant."
The "Perfumes" have participated in the Sherman Oaks Street Fair since the early days and have enjoyed creating cross- cultural awareness and bringing happy smiles to audiences of all ages!

Paul McCallum
Guitarist/mandolinist Paul McCallum's music is an acoustic mix of country, folk, with a bluegrass influence. He often performs at various venues and events around Los Angeles and Ventura, such as The LA Times Festival Of Books, Margarita Villa, and at The Baked Potato as part of a horn section. His former band, Murphy's Flaw, placed 2nd at the 2006 Topanga Fiddle contest. Paul's currently finishing his debut CD.
